It's on my mind and I need a new post anyway so I have to do a little bragging about my beautiful husband! He is my world and he is amazing. I love him so much! This last year has seriously been the best year of my life!!! I have been 100% at peace for over a year, and I have to say it is an amazing feeling! He came into my life in February and ever since it's been a state of bliss. Only good things have come!!! Seriously. Only good things have happened, and only the Right things have happened. And any of the hard things felt very minor with a good attitude and Michael on my side. It's been pretty simple. He is wonderful and loves me SO much. He is so perfect for me, and I couldn't ask for anything more.
Life is good!!!

P.S. We just traded his Jeep in today and I think he almost cried, you would've thought he was giving a child away or something ;) No, he was good about it but I know he is already missing it. It was a good looking car and suited him well... I know it's only a way of transportation but it definitely will be missed!

B.O.R.E.D.

I am going crazy. I have been trying to get wedding pictures uploaded on here for weeks. And no matter what internet I am using, it just doesn't seem to work! So they are all over facebook and my sister in law posted about our wedding on her blog, so if you want to see some click HERE, and scroll down.
I am going crazy. I say this again because, I am! I need a new job. I need to feel fulfilled and productive! The only "job" that makes me feel truly fulfilled is doing hair, it is my biggest passion and I absolutely LOVE doing it. It is a hobby, not a job to me! One minor problem.. the Salon I am at is dead, so I sit.. ALL the time. Next solution; Looking for any type of work.. Full Time/Part Time, I'll take whatever. It may not be as fulfilling as making people beautiful but at least it keeps me productive and sane. Plus the money part is kind of a necessity. Only problem in finding a job is, it seems that everyone else is looking for jobs as well! I've put so many resumes out there and I have nothing to show for it. So here I am, wanting, and desperately needing something to do!! I seriously can't live like this, I swear my husband thinks that I am a mental case.. Maybe I am?!?

feels like home

Mike and I had a wonderful day today! He is currently doing homework (or so he says, I hear a movie going on in there...) so I figured I could blog! We both had today off, as we do most Tuesdays. Over half the day was gone by the time both of us realized what the date was, we have been married 1 month today! Life is happening so fast and its wonderful. Being married and being our own little family is great! I really married a good one!

We were quite productive today. We spent most the afternoon at the Temple. I have had these family names for probably years.. Sorry!! Once I moved into our home I found them in a box and that is when Mike and I decided that we needed to get right on it and do all the work we can for them. 13 boy names and 10 girls. So today we went and did the baptisms and confirmations. We went to Provo in the afternoon thinking it would be dead but it was quite busy! I got to watch him be baptized for the boys and then he baptized me. It really was a great moment with my amazing husband!

We ran several errands but the stop I really want to tell you about is our sweet deals that we found at Bed Bath and Beyond (in orem, lots of good stuff right now!!!). I was starving, getting ornery, and I didn't want to go, but good thing we did! This clock was originally $100.00 and it had been returned and was marked down to $25.00! The 7 picture frame thing was $3.00 and we also got a thumper for $5.00. We even used our 20% off on the clock, just because! The theme of a lot of our wedding gifts were decorations, but I couldn't say no to these! We are going to paint the black picture frame and a couple of the white ones on our wall to add color to our rooms! Love it.

It's beautiful, isn't it???

So the house is coming along! Last week we finally decided where and what to get for furniture. We chose Ikea so everything could match, and figured it'll last a good while.. since we paid for the "real" wood. Of course we had to put everything together ourselves but that made it a fun night.

The Process...

The MESS!!

The finished products!!! The TV stand, and our end table that Mike did! We also did the coffee table and a night stand for our room.

We have a home!!! Well we had a home but now it feels like home. We love it. It's amazing how organizing and putting a few things on the wall can make it feel so much better!! We love it. And P.S. That mirror is my favorite part! I had to get it! So much fuN!!

Festivities

We were Bonnie and Clyde for Halloween. Thursday night we went to a Halloween Party, its the only time I got him to dress up! Saturday I dressed up for work then it was time for sweats, hot chocolate and a movie!

I couldnt handle kissing him with his fake mustache that really looks so real. It doesn't feel real and I can't handle kissing any facial hair in the first place!

We carved pumpkins this evening with some friends and made the best sugar cookies EVER!

Some of the girls at the Salon!

Rockin The Boat

Michael and I have been married for 2 weeks now. It is great to have been together day after day constantly by his side and still not being able to get enough of each other! I am truly blessed. This week in real life has been interesting: We went grocery shopping Monday and still haven't eaten the healthiest between Cafe Rio, Pizza, Egg Nog, Sugar Cookies, Ice Cream are what our meals have consisted of. When we went grocery shopping we didn't know the first place to start! I finally made us dinner last night, still nothing too special tho. :)

HONEYMOON:

Animals that our room attendant made when he cleaned...

So, After the most perfect day we went to the Marriott and stayed there for 2 nights. We flew to San Diego Monday morning and boarded on the Radiance of the Seas.

We walked around for a while, found some food, took a nap and then it was time for dinner. We woke up and the boat was moving and that was not the best feeling in the world in my stomach. That was the only time we really got effected by the boat. Tuesday we were in Mexixo. We got off and spent the day in Ensenada. We walked a lot and just went shopping.

This is the Fish Market.
We got really cool marble candle holders, a dolphin and pyramid paper weight for a dollar each. We were pretty excited when we found them. I got a way sweet purse too. The Photo Album and the round Lemon Wood jar we got in Cabo with our names on it.

We tried to get some sun once we got back on the boat but it was windy and cold so we took a nap. It was the dress up dinner and we forgot to actually use our camera so we took a picture of a picture here.

Wednesday we were at Sea, so we were out by the pool all day. It was a perfect day with no wind! I love laying out.

(This was a little part of our room, we were in the process of repacking and reorganizing...)

This was one of the only Sunsets that we actually got captured on camera!

This was our table of people that we ate with every night. They were fun to get to know! We were nervous that we were going to have a table with old people that we'd have to force conversation with.

A few nights we got desert from room service or after dinner we'd get a plate of deserts in the buffet area... Michael loves chocolate and he seriously gets so excited!!! Thursday we were in Cabo the whole day! This is taken from the ship.

It was beautiful but super hot. My only advice if you ever stop here on a cruise, once you get to the Marina and you want to go to a Beach, TAKE a water taxi from one of the people that are all waiting in line trying to talk you into things, you get a good deal. It was the longest walk to get to the beach!

On the way we went shopping and got these Iguana's thrown on us, the guy expecting pay for taking our picture.

It was still way too long of a walk, when we were just ready to be on the beach and play.

We finally got there! With the boat behind us.

I love my man!

We took a tour out to Land's End. I am pretty sure that this tunnel is called the tunnel to the pacific. It was fun, the water was out of control on the boat ride and our guy was trying to fish while driving.

We didn't put on sun screen and definitely got fried but it was a great day being in Cabo. Friday we were super lazy, slept in, took naps. It's funny how being on a vacation you get exhausted, we took a lot of naps. We walked around the boat and took some last pictures.

We went up to the bow of the boat on the Helicopter Pad, we could barely walk up there with how powerful the wind was.

This was the last sunset that we could enjoy and of course it got cloudy!

i love:

I love that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
I love the opportunity that I have to go to church each week
I love that I was raised by great parents!
I love that my fiance is a worthy priesthood holder who has the same goals as me
I love my family with all my heart
I love the teachings of the Savior, and I despise the ways of the world.
I love that I still have my Faith and I will NEVER lose it
... Always always remember what you know!

Helaman 5:12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

Where do I start?

I obviously have been a slacker about blogging but that's why this post will probably be quite long!

1. 1st item, I think we've gotten everyone's address, if you haven't given yours please comment!
2. For a ward activity sometime in July, we went up to Spanish Fork Canyon to this guys house who invented the Human Slingshot, here's a video.. Don't fret somehow I cracked my ribs and Mike couldn't hardly hold me for weeks. It hurt to laugh, cry, breathe, etc..
video
3. Back at the end of July we went to Wyoming for a few days with some friends. We went white water rafting. It was seriously a blast, really cold but way fun!
4. The first weekend in August, my family did a trip up to Park City, while we were there we did a Murder Mystery Game. We all dressed up as our characters from 1959 and went to a Burger Joint to eat and got lots of stares. Then went back to the Hotel and played. Mike turned out to be the killer. We also went on the Alpine slide and Coaster. Great weekend!

5. I was homeless for 2 1/2 weeks. At first I was really negative about it, really emotional and some stuff hit me pretty hard. I have never felt that amount of stress before. Seriously, so much was going on and I felt like those 2 weeks were never going to end. It felt like a serious grieving period, but EVERYTHING worked out. My friends Tonya and Katie let me sleep on their couch for a week. Then my good friend Jess let me share her bed for the other week and a half. I was so grateful for her and her families hospitality. It was wonderful. She went on her Mission on September 2nd and I had so much fun being with her. She is an amazing person!
6. Which brings me to my next point.. Where am I living? Mike and I bought a condo! We signed our lives away Thursday 8/27. Seriously, everything fell perfectly into place and it worked out. We moved all of our stuff in the next night. And there is nothing left in my storage unit! It is still a mess but we love it! Its really cute and it'll fit us for quite a while. Here are a few pictures, nothing too exciting and nothing is actually in order. I honestly haven't hardly had any time to get anything put away. I'll post better pictures when it is complete, which it won't be until Mike is living here.
See the Kitchen is still a mess, but thanks to my mom the counter is finally cleaned off!
Hall way, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. At the end is our bedroom.
Family room, needing to be organized, as well as things added and removed.

This is our bathroom (don't mind the mess, I need to learn how to organize my stuff and get ready in the bathroom again) Left of the toilet is Mike's sink. And to the right of my sink is our closet. I love these kind of doors for the closets!

7. We went to St. George over Labor Day. We brought back the coolest thing ever!
Yes, we got a cat. Not just any cat, we got Zoee! She was living in St. George with the parentals. I can finally have her again! She loves it here and so far Mike likes her too :)
8. We are SO in love! Wedding plans are coming along. Its only 4 weeks away!!!! Time has gone by so fast. We are excited to start our Eternal Family! Invitations are done and going out soon, here are 2 of our engagements. He is adorable.

THE END.
